AMINOETHYLETHANOLAMINE is a clear colorless liquid with an ammonia-like odor. Corrosive to tissue. Combustible, but may be difficult to ignite. Less dense than water. Vapors heavier than air. Toxic oxides of nitrogen produced during combustion. Used to make other chemicals.

Usage
AMINOETHYLETHANOLAMINE is used as a chelating agent and in coatings to make additive for latex paints. Due to above property, it is used as detergent/cleaner/fabric softener. It is also used as a dispersal detergent additive for gasoline. It is used as a surfactant and as ash less dispersant in engine oil and other lubricant.
