Benzalkonium Chloride (BKC / BAC)
Benzalkonium Chloride appears colorless to pale yellow liquid. It can soluble in ethanol, acetone and water. Aqueous solution is neutral to slightly alkaline. Benzalkonium Chloride is cationic surfactant, and nonoxidizing biocide or anti-bacterial agent.

Function:
Benzalkonium Chloride mainly used as a anti-bacterial agent, preservative and surfactant. Benzalkonium Chloride can also be used as a disinfectant in the Hospital, Livestock and Personal Hygiene.
Benzalkonium Chloride can be used together with other fungicidal such as isothiazolinones, glutaraldegyde, dithionitrile methane for synergism, but cannot be used together with chlorophenols.
