Benzisothiazolinone (BIT) is aqueous, alkaline solution of approx. 10 % 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). For the preservation of aqueous technical preparations such as polymer dispersions, aqueous coatings, plasters, synthetic adhesives, pigment slurries, concrete additives, or cleaners and detergents. Broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, mold and yeasts. VOC- and solvent-free.

Usage
Benzisothiazolinone (BIT) has a microbicide and a fungicide mode of action. Benzisothiazolinone (BIT) is widely used as a preservative in emulsion paints, caulks, varnishers, adhesives, ink and photographic processing solutions, gas and oil drilling (muds & packer) for fluid preservation. Benzisothiazolinone (BIT) can also be used as industrial settings (textile spin-finish solutions and leather processing solutions) and perticide formulations in agriculture.
